Blackjack Switch allows the player to trade cards between two hands. This Blackjack variant (also known as Blackjack exchange) typically allows you to make two bets of equal size where you can switch the second card which you deal in each hand. Unless it is specified, the rules are normally similar to live blackjack online or conventional Blackjack.
This game was invented by Geoff Hall and allows the player to exchange the top two cards between hands. Instead of the standard 3:2, the natural blackjacks are paid 1:1 and except a natural, if the dealer has a hand of 22, it pushes all the player hands. In this variant, 4, 6 or 8 decks are used which are shuffled together and dealt from a shuffling machine or dealing shoe. Starting from his left, the dealer has to put one card face up on every playing position box. He deals a face up card to himself and deals another to every box from his left. The dealer then asks the players if they want to switch their cards after resolving their side bets. The dealer then asks the player (who made his decision) if he wants to double, stand or hit. The player can decide first from his right hand box and then to the left. Just like normal Blackjack, if the player hands exceed 21, the backing wager is taken in by the house and the cards are removed. The dealer plays out his hand after the decision phase in live blackjack online, according to blackjack-style drawing rules.
There are some rules in the game that differ from the new casino games. The first one is that the bet needs to be made with both hands and not one. If you win the most favourable hand in the game (The Blackjack), you will be paid even money based on the 1:1 payout rule. In this game, if you manage to get a Blackjack, you can beat a 21. One of the tips to play live casino in Blackjack Switch is to use a basic strategy of swapping cards to get one strong hand. This normally results in a losing hand against the dealer, one winning hand or a push. Unlike the normal Blackjack, if the player manages to get a Blackjack in the game after switching his or her top two cards, it will be counted as a 21.
This variant of live blackjack online also allows the player to double his or her bets after switching the cards. The player can double on any hand of his or her choice. In the conventional Blackjack game, splitting of hands is considered to be normal. But in some variants of the game, splitting is not allowed at all. In Blackjack switch, the player is allowed to split up to four hands where he or she has to bet equal amounts on each of the four hands.
The payouts in this variant of live blackjack online are considerably different from the conventional one (both online as well as regular casinos). You have to keep in mind that the Blackjack which you get in the game will be paid out as 1:1 instead of 3:2 which is less profitable.
